Dr. Ledderhof grew up in Oakville, Ontario but headed down east to attend Acadia University in Nova Scotia, completing an Honours degree in Biology. Following in his Dad’s footsteps, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario, graduating with distinction. Immediately following dental school, he completed a one-year hospital-based dental residency program at the London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario. This was followed by practicing general dentistry for one year.
With a keen interest in the surgical side of the profession, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto in 2017. Dr. Ledderhof next completed a one-year Fellowship training program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center focusing on the treatment of benign and malignant pathology as well as major maxillofacial trauma. As a result, Dr. Ledderhof is a published author on multiple topics in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and continues to enjoy teaching. He is board certified in both Canada and America.
Dr. Ledderhof has practiced throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada and is happy to be settled back at home! When not working, he can be found with his wife, family and friends enjoying things like skiing, cooking and the great outdoors!
